The system is designed to help protect against needle stick injury when using a prefilled syringe and complements West's portfolio of prefilled syringe offerings and technologies, which includes the NovaGuard passive needle system for Luer Lock syringes. B.safe features an active safety system for staked and insert needle prefilled syringes, is compatible with a range of ISO-compliant prefilled syringes (glass or polymer), and is designed for syringes with a rigid needle shield.
