Scott-Clark Medical's CAPS battery pack allows medication and other point-of care-mobile carts to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Unlike earlier swappable batteries, the CAPS battery pack employs one or two 25 AH LiFE smart batteries and can be recharged while still on the cart. These medical grade battery systems can support very large monitors and even electric lifts and can replace the batteries on most mobile carts. The batteries have a two-and-a-half hour recharge time.
