Medi-Dose introduces the Detect-A-Dose Lid-Label Cover to provide quick visual identification of medications within unit-dose packaging. These labels were developed to help address pharmacists’ and nurses’ concerns about maintaining proper inventory counts, especially for controlled substances. The underside of the label is printed with a high contrast black and white pattern to make missing doses readily apparent. Users may tilt the sealed package one way so that light-colored medications contrast with the dark background; when tilted the opposite way, dark-colored medications contrast with the light background.
