The system’s automation is powered by OmniSphere, a cloud-based, HITRUST-certified medication management platform engineered to unify user management and task guidance, enable a global formulary, and support inventory management to facilitate enterprise-wide usage. This launch extends OmniSphere into nursing care areas to help support nurses when administering medications. This system includes embedded safeguards designed to mitigate common error sources and reduce workflow disruptions, including: look alike/sound alike and override management alerts; targeted alerts designed to reduce alarm fatigue; and simplified medication retrieval workflows that can expedite staff onboarding and reduce training burden.
