Electronic Surveillance Application Update

Pharmacy OneSource, part of Wolters Kluwer

Pharmacy OneSource has added new improvements to Sentri7-a Web-based, enterprise-wide electronic surveillance application-that help hospital staff identify at-risk patients. Pharmacies will now have enhanced rule criteria when reviewing medications that are provided on an as needed (PRN) basis. This enhancement enables pharmacists to filter out PRN medication orders when it is not appropriate to display them as part of workflow. In addition, lists can be created that specifically include only PRN orders. This improvement benefits infection prevention teams with expanded validation, export, and print functionality for antibiogram reports.
