Kathleen Kane, PharmD, MBA, BCSCP, DPLA, is the assistant director of pharmacy at the University of Chicago, specializing in compounding integrity, regulatory compliance, and cleanroom design. She has nineteen years of experience across community, institutional, and industry settings and leads organizational compliance with USP and cGMP standards. Board certified in sterile compounding, she serves on the BPS Compounded Sterile Preparations Specialty Council as the incoming 2026 vice chair and contributes nationally through volunteer work with APC, ISPE, ICHP, ASHP, and USP.
