International Medical Industries (IMI) introduces the Prep-Lock Tamper Evident Cap for BD UniVia oral syringes. Like IMI’s other oral, tamper-evident caps, it is an effective solution for protecting oral narcotics and medications. An active deterrent to drug diversion, the caps greatly reduce the risk of syringes being compromised, intentionally or accidentally. Once the cap is removed, it cannot be reinstalled, so a missing or broken ring is evidence of potential misuse or damage. Oral syringe tips are specific to each oral syringe manufacturer; the BD UniVia compatible tamper-evident cap is compatible with the BD oral syringe.
