Amneal Pharmaceuticals has launched 3 mg budesonide capsules, a generic equivalent to Entocort EC. Budesonide capsules are now shipping to wholesalers, distributors, and direct to the trade. In 2017, Amneal received 45 ANDA approvals (39 final and 6 tentative) and launched 35 product families—nine of these by its injectables subsidiary, Amneal Biosciences.
