Swisslog Healthcare Solutions announces the release of the Nexus touchscreen control panel for pneumatic tube systems. The touchscreen display works with four- and six-inch Translogic, Quantum, or competitive tube stations, and can be retrofitted to existing systems one station at a time or as part of a complete system overhaul. Nexus enables easier and faster access to special functions like STAT, secure-send, and sending materials at slower speeds. The screen features pre-programmed speed dials—or Quick Keys—for common func- tions and important messages are displayed with vibrant colors and large type that users can see from a distance. Built-in security features, such as pin codes and support for optional access badge readers, ensure that only authorized users gain access to the tube system.
